The Diamond in her Tears

The Diamond in her Tears

When the Wind is riding high,
But the Sun still shines,
While the Clouds are moving in.

When the Storm is rolling in,
And the Clouds darken the skies,
That’s when the Thunder sounds.

As the Lightning spikes the ground,
While the Rain it screams and strikes,
And the Stone groans in vain.

The Lady she stands,
Steady and True,
Wind whipping her hair,
Eyes black as the storm,
The rain hides away,
The Diamonds in her Tears.
