Spring Storm

Sunlight, warmth on skin,
cooling breeze, droplits of rain,
sudden surge of darkened skies,
with a hint of thunder
on the edge of earshot,
faint smell of ozone
foresees lightning
in your future.

Sheets of rain, strike the concrete,
cold wind, echoes of thunder,
sudden arcs of lightning,
with a hint of afterflash
on the edge of vision,
faint hint of sunlight
from broken clouds
in the sky.
